How to Make a Coffee Making AI Video

One or two photos, a few clicks and about 3–4 minutes of waiting: how to put you, your partner or your pets in the coffee AI trend.

Last updated: 2026-11-02

To make a Coffee Making AI video (the coffee fail clip from TikTok and Reels) you need one or two photos (one per character, a person or a pet), a Google account to sign in, and 13 credits for a 10-second video or 20 credits for the full 15 seconds. There's no prompt to write and no reference video to find. The video itself takes about 3–4 minutes to generate; that's our estimate for this AI model, and the page shows a progress screen while you wait.

How to Make It, Step by Step

  1. Pick your photos. Choose who plays which part. Photo 1 is the one up front on the right: they spoon the coffee, spill the grounds and lift the red mug at the end. Photo 2 is the one on the left: they pour the kettle, nudge the mug and flood the counter with milk. Photo 2 is optional; leave it empty and the subject of photo 1 plays both parts, like twins. Each photo should show one person or one pet with the face clearly visible. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC files up to 10 MB each work.
  2. Upload and choose a length. Open the generator on the homepage, sign in with Google and drop a photo into each slot. On a computer, each slot also has an "upload from your phone" button: scan the QR code and the photo lands in that slot about 2 seconds after you pick it on your phone. Choose 15 seconds (20 credits, the trend's full length) or 10 seconds (13 credits, the same beats squeezed in), tick the permission box and press the button.
  3. Download and post. In about 3–4 minutes your video appears on the page as a 720p MP4 in 9:16 with no watermark. Download it, or on an iPhone use Save Video from the share sheet, or share it straight to TikTok. It also stays saved in your account, so you can come back for it later.

Photo Tips for People and Pets

  • One subject per photo. One person or one pet in each photo, so it's clear who takes which part.
  • Face clearly visible. Good light on the face or snout, looking roughly toward the camera. Sunglasses and heavy filters hide the details the AI needs.
  • Pets are welcome. Dogs and cats stand up on their hind legs and use their front paws like hands, like the dogs and the kitten in the trend. A clear photo where you can see the whole face works best.
  • Wear what you want to be seen in. The AI follows the outfits in your photos, so a costume or a matching outfit usually carries into the kitchen.
  • Very tall or wide photos are fine. They get white bars added before upload, so you don't need to crop them yourself.
  • Your own photos only. You, people who gave permission (adults, 18+) or your pets. Photos of celebrities, politicians or other public figures are refused by the AI model.

Other Ways People Make the Coffee AI Video

Since October 30, 2026, tutorial videos (many of them in Hindi) have shown how to make the clip in general AI video tools. That route usually needs three things: your two photos, a reference video of the trend, and a long prompt describing the routine. Some tutorials also point to a ready-made template in a video-editing app. Any of these can work if you're willing to set it up yourself.

On Coffee Making AI the routine is already written for the AI, so the only things you bring are your photos. You pick the length, and that's it.

Posting Tips

  • It's already vertical. The video is 9:16, the format TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts expect, so there's nothing to crop.
  • Add a sound if you like. Your video comes with an AI-made comedy tune and kitchen sounds. You can keep it or add any sound from TikTok, Reels or Shorts when you post.
  • Name the trend. People look for it as "coffee making AI", "AI coffee trend" and "coffee trend AI video". Hashtags such as #coffeemakingai, #aicoffeetrend and #aivideo help people find it.
  • Say it's AI. Label the clip as AI-generated, and turn on the platform's AI-generated label if it has one.
  • Ask permission first. If someone else is in the video, check they're happy for you to post it.

Coffee Making AI Video FAQ

How long does it take to make the video?

About 3–4 minutes per video. That's our estimate for this AI model, not a guarantee. You can leave the page or close it and come back later; the finished video waits in your account.

Can I make it with just one photo?

Yes. Leave photo 2 empty and the person or pet in photo 1 plays both parts, like twins.

Which AI model makes the video?

The videos are made with Seedance 2.0 Mini, an AI video model by ByteDance, through an API provider. Coffee Making AI isn't affiliated with ByteDance.

Can I save the video on my iPhone?

Yes. Tap download, then choose Save Video in the share sheet. You can also share it to TikTok directly from the page.

What if the video comes out wrong?

A failed render is retried once automatically for free; if it fails again, the credits go back to your balance automatically, and refused photos get their credits back too. If a finished video has a problem, email [email protected] and we refund the credits that video used, in money, to your original payment method; if you only used part of a pack, the credits you haven't used are refunded in money too.

Can I use a photo of a celebrity?

No. Only use photos of yourself, of adults who gave you permission, or of your pets. The AI model refuses photos of celebrities, politicians and other public figures.
